Detectives with the Vancouver Police Department are investigating an early morning stabbing at a residence in Vancouver’s Maplewood Neighborhood.

Two males got into an argument over a possible stolen cellphone and one man stabbed the other man, which resulted in injuries that were not life threatening, Sgt. Mike Knotts said. He was taken to an area hospital, Knotts said.

Police were called to the residence, 1901 Wilson Ave., just after 3 a.m. today.

Knotts said that detectives are interviewing people this morning and no arrests have been made yet.

This story will be updated as information becomes available.
