Zach Eagle of Camas was voted The Columbian’s high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Nov. 23.
Eagle collected 74 percent of the 556 votes cast by fans to beat out Conner Fulton of La Center, who had 19 percent.
Eagle caught nine passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns. He also had an 11-yard touchdown run and a 19-yard fumble recovery return for a touchdown in the Papermakers’ win over Eastlake.
The other nominee was Preston Jones of Mountain View.
This is the final prep football player of the week vote of the season.
