• Larry Schwartz, a vice president with Vancouver-based Riverview Community Bank, has been promoted to branch manager of the bank’s Gresham and Wood Village locations in Oregon. Schwartz will be responsible for building professional and strategic business banking relationships throughout the area. His background includes more than 30 years of business and local banking experience, along with management, lending and credit approval.
New business
• Isaak and Elizabeth Dakar have recently opened a Middle Eastern restaurant called Petra House, 1900 N.E. 162nd Ave. The menu includes hummus, falafel, gyros, a kabab mixed plate, daily traditional specials, and desserts of baklava and mouhalabieh. • The Port of Ridgefield announced Ammo Depot Inc. is relocating its corporate headquarters from Northern California to Ridgefield. The company leased 3,000 square feet of office space and 3,800 square feet of warehouse space at 600 S. 74th Place. The ammunition-supply company will retain its existing retail presence in California. Approximately 10 people will be employed at the Ridgefield site.
