A house in Vancouver’s Kevanna neighborhood caught fire early today, displacing a family of five and their dog.

Vancouver firefighters responded to a 911 report at 5:04 a.m. of the fire at 4313 N.E. 106th Ave.

The American Red Cross has provided the family with temporary lodging, food, other necessities and disaster mental health and health services, said Oregon region spokeswoman Kim Upham.

A spokesperson with the Vancouver Fire Department was not immediately available this morning.

However, Upham said the house is salvageable.

Clark County property records indicate that Christopher Wiese owns and lives in the house.

The ranch-style house is about 1,800 square feet and assessed at a taxable value of $146,291.
