Fred Meyer brings help to North County hungry

Battle Ground — Fred Meyer Stores donated $5,000 to the North County Community Food Bank on Nov. 14. It’s part of “Bringing Hope to the Table,” an annual campaign. Fred Meyer also donates more than 4 million pounds of food to local food banks each year through its Perishable Donation Program, which saves food that’s past it’s expiration date but still perfectly good.
