Battle Ground — Future classroom teachers in the education program at Washington State University got some hands-on practice with contemporary lesson planning as they prepared lessons on Internet safety for third-graders at Pleasant Valley Primary School. Over a dozen WSUV students presented the wide-ranging lessons — covering topics such as cyberbullying and “netiquette,” citizenship, copyright and plagiarism — to third-grade classes at the school on Nov. 4. More involvement with Pleasant Valley by WSUV teachers-to-be is still to come.
