Nate Beasley of Camas was voted The Columbian’s high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Nov. 16.
Beasley collected 42 percent of the 1,528 votes cast by fans to beat out Preston Jones of Mountain View, who had 34 percent.
Beasley rushed for 217 yards and four touchdowns and caught a 54 yards touchdown pass play in the Papermakers’ win over Cascade.
The other nominees were Wyatt Aguirre of La Center, Michael Knox of Skyview and Leon Siofele of Union.
Nominees and the online ballot are posted at www.360preps.com each Saturday and voting continues until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
