Clark County — Two young Clark County musicians got a big honor last month, performing in the National Association for Music Education’s All-National Honor Ensembles. Camas High School’s Isaac Hodapp played trumpet in the honor band and Vancouver School of Arts and Academics’ Nicholas Arredondo played double bass in the honor orchestra. The All-National Honor Ensembles brought a selection of the best student musicians from across the country in late October to play for thousands at a gala concert in Nashville. There were three Washington musicians invited to join the honor band and 10 in the orchestra, but only Arredondo and Hodapp represented Clark County.
