Jacob Dennis of Skyview was voted The Columbian’s high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Nov. 9.
Dennis collected 30 percent of the 1,610 votes cast by fans to beat out Austin Mace of Mountain View, who had 25 percent.
Dennis caught 10 passes for a career-high 200 yards and a touchdown in a win over Curtis.
The other nominees were Wyatt Aguirre of La Center, Reilly Hennessey of Camas and Eli Whitmire of Woodland.
Nominees and the online ballot are posted at www.360preps.com each Saturday and voting continues until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
