• Debbie Marcoulier has been named president of RSV Building Solutions, a Vancouver-based commercial construction company. Marcoulier holds a bachelor’s in management and had served as RSV’s vice president of business operations. She is responsible for RSV’s financial and operational performance and long-term strategic direction.
• Pete Munroe, Clark County’s Housing and Community Development Program manager, was honored with the Roy D. Hoover award by the National Association for County Community and Economic Development. The award, which has had only 15 recipients in the 38-year history of the organization, honored Munroe for his efforts in affordable housing and national community and economic-development programs.
• Tim Leavitt has received a Civil Government Award for contributions to engineering by meritorious public service. As senior civil engineer for PBS Engineering & Environmental and the mayor of Vancouver, Leavitt has worked with state and national officials to acquire funding for projects including the Vancouver Waterfront Access Project.
New business news
• A new downtown taproom and brewery, Dirty Hands Brewing Co., opened last week at 114 E. Evergreen Blvd. in Vancouver. Owned by local brewers Grant Merrill and Phil Chou, the venue features a lineup of amber, India pale ale, wheat, brown and stout beers. Menu items include soups, salads, sandwiches and appetizers. Hours are 3 to 11 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
