Three people were injured in a T-bone collision Tuesday evening in Ridgefield.
The crash was reported at 6:22 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 29th Avenue and Northeast 199th Street.
A man was driving Honda CRV cab south on 29th Avenue with a passenger and stopped at the intersection. Thinking it was a four-way stop, he continued on the roadway into the path of an eastbound Honda Odyssey, said Clark County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chad Rothenberger.
Both drivers and the passenger were transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center with minor injuries, Rothenberger said. The passenger was taking the cab to Legacy when the collision occurred.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. The intersection was the site of a July car crash that killed a 17-year-old Skyview High School student.
Note: In an earlier story officials reported that one person was injured and described the collision as head-on. After the vehicles collided, they apparently came to rest facing each other.
