Traffic in both directions on Interstate 5 could experience 20-minute delays Thursday night and early Friday morning as crews perform maintenance on the bridge’s lift spans.
Bridge lifts will occur multiple times between 10 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday, and each lift will last about 20 minutes, according to an Oregon Department of Transportation news release. Normal operations will resume 5:30 a.m. Friday.
Crews will be lubricating steel cables on the bridge.
