Members of Boy Scout Troop 562 led a flag raising ceremony on Monday at the Camas Cemetery, in recognition of Memorial Day. Despite heavy rain, members of Friends of the Camas Cemetery, elected officials, and citizens turned out for the event. Following the ceremony, two new columbariums purchased by the city were dedicated. Several other Memorial Day weekend events were held in the area, including at the Fern Prairie and Washougal Memorial cemeteries.
