A small earthquake rattled northeast Clark County on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. There were no reports of damage.
The 2.5 magnitude quake struck at 9:40 a.m. The epicenter was 3 miles northeast of Battle Ground, and the depth was 1.1 miles, according to the USGS.
Anita Gwinn of Amboy reported feeling the quake in an email to The Columbian.
“It felt like a log truck drove off the road or a train driving by,” Gwinn wrote. “It shook the windows of my house. but there was no damage.”
The Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency reported that it received no calls about the quake.
