Clark College alumni Rick and Ellie Tymer received the college’s Presidential Award for Excellence at the Clark College Foundation’s Savoring Excellence event on May 15. Rick Tymer, a retired former faculty member from the auto technology program, was instrumental in bringing to Clark the Toyota T-TEN program, a training program that prepares students for jobs as certified Toyota and Lexus technicians. The Tymers live in Torrance, Calif.
