A tractor-trailer carrying mail went off the road and overturned on the 30300 block of Northwest 31st Avenue, northwest of Ridgefield.
The private carrier who contracts with the United States Postal Service crashed for an unknown reason just before 6 a.m. Tuesday, Clark County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Fred Neiman said. Southbound lanes of the road were blocked for a few hours.
The driver was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for injuries from the incident.
His name was not released.
Neiman said the driver will likely face a moving violation.
