An 18-year-old Skyview High School student was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of trafficking marijuana and ecstasy to other students.
Trevor Jay Thomas, a senior at the school, was allegedly trafficking the drugs at his residence, 15215 N.W. 21st Ave.
Detectives from the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force arranged to purchase drugs from Thomas on Wednesday. Thomas then drove from his residence to Fred Meyer, 800 N.E. Tenney Road , to deliver the drugs and was taken into custody, according to Cmdr. Mike Cooke. Marijuana and ecstasy were found in his car, a 2006 Mercedes Benz C230.
Detectives served a search warrant at his residence and found additional drugs, packaging material and $12,000 in cash.
