Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn will conduct an election Oct. 1-16 for board positions in the state’s nine educational service districts. Candidates for three positions are sought for ESD 112, which covers public schools in six Southwest Washington counties: Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Pacific, Skamania and Wahkiakum. Those positions currently are filled.
Candidates must be registered voters living in the ESD for which the candidate files. Board members serve a four-year term.
The election process will begin Aug. 22. Declaration of candidacy forms may be obtained after Aug. 22 from the ESD 112 office, 2500 N.E. 65th Ave.
