Striping work on southbound Interstate 5 will temporarily close two lanes near Northeast 179th Street starting Saturday night, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Crews will close the left and center lanes on the southbound side of the freeway at Exit 9 from 10 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday. Workers will install contrasting lane stripes, designed for better visibility in poor conditions, according to WSDOT.
