A housing report issued Monday showed little year-over-year change in metro-area home foreclosures in January, as measured by outstanding mortgage loans in the Vancouver-Portland-Hillsboro, Ore., area.

The data released by CoreLogic showed foreclosures on 2.54 percent of outstanding mortgage loans in January, the same rate as in January 2012. The national foreclosure rate was 2.9 percent in January, according to CoreLogic. Also, 5.16 percent of Portland-area mortgages were delinquent by 90 days or more in January, compared with 5.67 percent during the same period in 2012.
