Vancouver — A record number of 29 nominees will help Washington State University Vancouver celebrate its fifth annual Women of Distinction event at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Firstenburg Student Commons, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.
The Distinguished Woman of the Year award recipients — in the categories of high school student, WSU Vancouver student and community member — will be revealed.
