The Battle Ground Police Department introduced an online crime map, RAIDS-Online, that shows and analyzes crime data and alerts residents about recent crimes.

People can view the map and a grid of area crimes, register for email neighborhood watch reports of recent criminal activity, and submit anonymous crime tips to the police department, according to a news release from the city of Battle Ground.

“RAIDS-Online is a valuable tool for both the police department and for citizens within our jurisdiction,” said police Chief Bob Richardson. “It allows us to proactively communicate with the public we serve. I encourage citizens to visit the site; register to receive neighborhood watch reports; and communicate with us by providing any information they may have about crime activity.”

BAIR Analytics provides the service for free. The RAIDS-Online map can be viewed on the city’s website.
