It might seem a bit early, but the Prairie Falcons won the first Class 3A Greater St. Helens League softball game of the season.
A scheduling error was spotted and teams have been asked to move their final game of the league season to this week or next week.
Prairie and Columbia River moved its contest to Tuesday, with the Falcons rallying to beat the Chieftains and top the rain.
Sarah Landstrom went 3 for 3 and was one of six Falcons to drive in at least one run in the 9-6 victory. Ellie Cecil had a hit and drove in two runs for Prairie.
Columbia River led 4-0 after the first inning.
The Falcons responded with a six-run fourth inning.
The game was called due to weather after the fifth inning.
