A three-run eighth inning helped the Clark College baseball team get past Lane Community College 5-4 on Sunday in Eugene and pick up a split of the NWAACC non-league doubleheader.
Clark, which dropped the first game 14-3, trailed Lane 4-0 after two innings of the second game. The Penguins cut the lead to 4-2 with a two-run fifth before surging ahead in the eighth.
Spencer Ramsey homered and drove in two runs, and Daniel Walsh had a double and an RBI. Connor Munro was 2 for 4, and David Mason also drove in a run for Clark.
Cory Niten picked up the win, striking out three in the final two innings.
A six-run first inning got Lane going in the first game. The Titans had 14 hits in the game.
