• Nancy Olmsted, vice president of marketing at Columbia Credit Union, has been appointed to the institution’s newly created position of vice president of card services. Olmsted will lead the credit union’s service department in credit card, debit card and automated teller machine products to achieve growth in sales, service and operations. Columbia Credit Union also recently hired Brad Hunter as vice president of marketing to lead promotions that support member education on loans, deposits, wealth management and e-commerce.
• Page Phillips, the Washington state director for the Columbia River Crossing Coalition, has joined CFM, a Portland-based public policy consulting firm. Phillips previously worked as a Southwest Washington representative for Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash. and former Rep. Brian Baird, D-Wash. At CFM, Phillips will continue her present role on the Columbia River Crossing Coalition.
• David Bristol has joined Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt in the regional law firm’s Vancouver office as a shareholder and a member of its business and corporate practice group. Bristol most recently served as chief legal officer and executive vice president at the former First Independent Bank. He previously was a partner at Miller Nash, specializing in business and real estate transactions and financial institution regulation.
o Ronald Griffee Jr. of Vancouver was inducted by UPS into the Circle of Honor, an honorary organization for UPS drivers who have achieved 25 or more years of accident-free driving. Griffee, who is based in Portland, was one of 16 drivers to receive the Circle of Honor recognition in February.
