The deadline for prospective voters to register to vote in Clark County’s April special election is approaching.

The last day to submit mail-in voter registration forms for the April 23 election is March 25.

Online registration applications can be submitted by midnight on March 25.

People who are not registered to vote anywhere in the state have additional time. They can register up to April 15 by appearing in person at the Clark County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin St.

Three measures will appear on the April ballot, all tied to school districts.

Battle Ground Public Schools will attempt to pass a four year replacement maintenance and operations levy. The district’s previous attempt to pass a levy failed in February. The district is asking for $24.42 million in 2014, a figure that would increase to $27.25 million in 2017.

The April election will also bring a second attempt by the La Center School District, which is looking to pass a six-year capital fund levy that failed during the February election. The levy would generate $200,000 each year.

The Green Mountain School District’s four-year capital levy would be used to acquire land and build portable classrooms. The amount of the levy would be $70,000 in each of the four years.
