Emergency training classes offered

Clark County Fire District 6 is offering Community Emergency Response Team training at its station on Northeast Hazel Dell Avenue during the evening in April and May.

The classes cover disaster preparedness, disaster psychology, terrorism awareness, disaster drills, disaster medical operations, and light urban search and rescue. The minimum age to participate is 18 without an adult. Fire District 6 residents will be given preference for registration until April 5. The deadline to register is April 12. For more information, visit Clark County Fire District 6 or call CERT coordinator and firefighter/paramedic Dave Sinclair at 360-576-1195. The station is at 8800 N.E. Hazel Dell Ave. Classes cost $30.
