A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle early Thursday evening in Vancouver, police said.

The man, described as being in his 60s, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries in the accident, according to Vancouver Police Department Officer Ilia Botvinnik. The man was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center.

Botvinnik said the crash between the bicycle and a Honda CR-V driven by an adult woman occurred at 5:02 p.m. at Fourth Plain Boulevard and Broadway. The woman was not injured.

The person responsible for the accident was not immediately clear, according to Botvinnik. He said alcohol was not a factor.

The names of the man and woman were not available Thursday evening.
