Vancouver-based KASO Plastics Inc., a plastic injection molder, said this week it has acquired the Vanguard line of molded window products from VPL Enterprises Ltd., a company based in Langley, B.C.
KASO obtained the product line through its acquisition of inventory, dyes and manufacturing fixtures, in exchange for cash. The acquisition complements KASO’s “knowledge, experience and equipment,” the company said in a news release, and will lead the company to add six or seven full-time jobs.
