If you have complaints or compliments about Comcast’s cable televsion service, Wednesday is the day to speak up.
The City/County Telecommunications Commission will be accepting cable TV subscriber comments through various channels before, during and even after its Wednesday meeting, which begins at 3:30 p.m. in Vancouver City Council chambers, 415 W. Sixth St. The citizen commission is the local government body that oversees a franchise agreement with Comcast to provide cable television service within much of Clark County. As part of its annual performance review, the commission examines Comcast’s performance, as well as complaints against the company. It also solicits testimony at a public hearing.
The hearing will be televised live on CVTV Cable Channel 23, and a phone number will be displayed for call-ins about cable service, said Jim Demmon, telecommunications manager. Comments also can be emailed to the commission at Tracie.Looney@cityofvancouver.us. Comments will be accepted through April 5.
