The Washington State Auditor’s Office has reported that the Battle Ground School District has resolved compliance issues noted in prior annual audits.
Past audits reported three areas of concern: compliance with competitive bid laws, compliance with conflict of interest laws and a finding that leave separation costs were improperly charged to a federal program.
The most recent annual audit found the district had resolved these issues.
The Auditor’s Office found no instances of noncompliance between Sept. 1, 2011 and Aug. 31, 2012. The reports can be seen at http://1.usa.gov/YQYfoH.
