Roll up your jeans and pull out the tie-dyed T-shirt, help cook the hot dogs and hamburgers supplied by ALC, and get on the dance floor. Participants will be asked to share what was going on in their lives during the ’60s, with a door prize for the most far-out story. VENERSBORG CHURCH welcomes the community to its 100th anniversary celebration, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., 24317 N.E. 209th St., Battle Ground. There will be a barbecue, activities for kids, live music, antiques, old cars, trucks and tractors on display, historic community pictures and an audio and visual review. Speakers, including George Hacker, Tim Moberg, Liz Pike, Ann Rivers and Pastor Rob Sisson, will tell stories of Venersborg’s early days and the Swedes who settled there.
