Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at Westfield Vancouver Mall on Sunday, which may be connected to two other robberies in the Portland area.

Surveillance cameras captured three suspects breaking glass cases and taking contents of a display case at Morgan’s Jewelers, 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, at 4:35 a.m. Sunday.

The owners are in the process of letting police know which items were stolen and how much they are worth, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

Kapp said the burglary is similar to burglaries of jewelry stores in Hillsboro, Ore., and Tualatin, Ore., that have all occurred in early morning hours within the past week.

Anyone with information on the Vancouver burglary or who knows the suspects involved is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department tip line at 360-487-7399 and reference case No. V13-9344.
