A pair of Vancouver father-daughter duos pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a Battle Ground home-invasion robbery and assault of two men, including the boyfriend of one suspect.

Charles R. Sheldon III, 41, Hayley A. Sheldon, 19, Billy F. Barnes, 47, and Ashley N. Barnes, 21, were charged in Clark County Superior Court with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment and second-degree theft.

The foursome allegedly invaded the home of Hayley Sheldon’s boyfriend June 5 in order to recover some marijuana-growing equipment that belonged to Charles Sheldon, according to court documents.

Trial dates will be scheduled at a court hearing at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
