Grant will help science teacher explore light interactions

Ridgefield — A $5,200 grant awarded this month to Ridgefield High School science teacher Jeff Brink will go toward buying equipment to let students study the physics of light interactions on a molecular level. The Pacific Northwest Society of Coating Technology gave the award to Brink, who said in a press release he’ll use the money to purchase an emission spectrometer. The instrument measures wavelengths of light.
