Alexis Fuller qualified for Wednesday’s final in the girls 800 meters at the USA World Youth Track and Field Trials at Edwardsville, Ill.

Fuller’s time in Tuesday’s preliminary race was 2 minutes 16.95 seconds, slowest among the eight runners who qualified for Wednesday’s final.

Fuller, who attends Union High School, and Alexa Efraimson, who attends Camas, are representing the Evergreen Storm Track Club at this meet.

Efraimson will run in the girls 1,500 meter final on Wednesday morning, hoping to qualify to represent the United States at the IAAF World Youth Championships for athletes ages 16-17. That meet is July 10-14 in Ukraine.
