A total of 631 runners finished the third Vancouver USA Marathon.
The Sunday event, which started and finished at Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver, had about 60 more finishers than the 2012 race. In 2011, its first year, the Vancouver USA Marathon had 800 finishers.
An additional 1,331 runners and walkers completed the 13.1-mile half marathon, 176 more than in 2012 and 100 fewer than in 2011.
The top three marathon finishers for each age division, along with all marathon finishers from Clark County, are listed in the Community Sports Scoreboard. Also listed are results from Saturday’s Freedom 5K, a run and walk held as part of marathon weekend in downtown Vancouver.
Goalball nationals this week
The 2013 National Goalball Championships take place Thursday through Sunday at McLoughlin Middle School in Vancouver.
Goalball is a Paralympic team sport played by blind and visually impaired men and women, it is a physically challenging, strategic team game.
Approximately 100 athletes from across the nation will be competing. The event is free for spectators.Competition is scheduled for 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. Summer Solstice race set for Saturday
Northwest Personal Training is staging the Summer Solstice Amazing Scavenger Race on Saturday in downtown Vancouver to mark the arrival of summer.
The race will involve competing with a friend or small team. Participants will walk or run about four miles, with mental and physical challenges to complete along the route, including clues at each station of the course.
This event is a fundraiser for the Clark County Food Bank. The cost to participate is $55, $60 at the event.

Team wins soccer tourney
Pacific FC Revolution won the under-10 girls Gold Division at the Starfire Spring Classic soccer tournament, played Saturday and Sunday in Tukwila.
They beat Eastside Seattle, FC Crush Academy, and NW Premier before a 1-0 win in the finals over Franklin Pierce. The goal in the final was scored by Payton Lawson off an assist from Andi Buckley.
The Revolution scored 21 goals and allowed only two in their four tournament games.
