UPDATE: A Vancouver police officer said it appears the incident is over and officers and deputies have left.

Clark County sheriff’s deputies late tonight night are investigating a disturbance between a boater and people on the shore in the Frenchman’s Bar area.

The first report was of a shot being fired due to a dispute apparently between commercial fishermen on the Columbia River. Dispatchers with 911 were told there might have been fishing nets cut in the disturbance.

No other details are available now.
