Advocates for comprehensive immigration reform will host a rally 7:30 p.m. Monday outside the Vancouver office of U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, 750 Anderson St. on Officers Row.
Participants will take part in a post-Father’s Day vigil to reflect on immigrant dads who face deportation and separation from their families. Members of Congress are considering immigration reforms that would tighten border security and provide more pathways to citizenship for those who live in the U.S. illegally.
