Police are investigating the death of a male who appeared to have hanged himself near the Columbia River.
A passer-by found the body at 900 S.E. Columbia Way and reported it to police at 6:23 a.m. Wednesday. Officers responded and cordoned off the area for a few hours.
Vancouver police major crimes detectives are working with the medical examiner to confirm the cause of death.
