A Portland woman escaped serious injury after she fell asleep at the wheel and crashed on Interstate 205 just south of Interstate 5 in Salmon Creek on Monday evening.

Jody Foster, 55, was driving a 2013 Ford Escape south on I-205 when she fell asleep and drove off the roadway, according to the Washington State Patrol. Her vehicle rolled and landed in the median about 8 p.m.
