Vancouver firefighters rescued three boaters in trouble on Vancouver Lake about 8 p.m. Sunday, according to emergency radio information monitored at The Columbian.
Details were sketchy.
Rescue boat 61 came to the aid of two persons from a capsized boat and one from an overturned kayak.
Reports were the persons in the capsized boat were in the water for at least 30 minutes.
Firefighters said all three declined medical attention.– Dave Kern
