Vancouver police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who burglarized a local auto repair shop last month.

On May 21, officers responded to Vancouver Auto Repair, 3400 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., for a burglary that occurred between 8:03 and 8:14 a.m.

Surveillance footage captured a white man with a beard, wearing glasses and a red bicycle helmet. He was wearing white shoes, dark pants, a gray sweatshirt and dark shirt, and was riding a mountain bicycle with yellow front shocks.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Officer Scott Smith at 360-487-7400, ext. 3882.
