Battle Ground police are investigating a home-invasion robbery that sent one person to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Two people were home during the invasion, which was reported at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday at a residence in the 400 block of Southwest 17th Avenue.

No one has been arrested, but police say the attack was not a random one — the suspect and victim know each other, according to police.

Battle Ground City Spokeswoman Bonnie Gilberti would not specify how the person was injured, saying the investigation is ongoing. The Clark County Major Crimes Unit is assisting in the ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Battle Ground Sgt. Aaron Kanooth at 360-342-5254.
