Clark County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Hazel Dell this morning, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The crime was reported at 10:10 a.m. at Riverview Community Bank, 1220 N.E. 88th St.

The man reportedly walked into the bank and demanded cash, then left, driving away in a tan 80s model Honda four-door sedan described as dirty.

Witnesses told deputies that the dye pack exploded and the suspect tossed the dye pack out of the vehicle before driving south on Highway 99.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt and dark shorts.
