The Columbia River Economic Development Council said Monday it has hired Denise McCarty as its director of business recruitment. McCarty will oversee the council’s business recruitment efforts and will participate in a variety of other economic development initiatives.
She spent the last 16 years as director of global business management for Avnet Inc., in which role she traveled in China, Southeast Asia and Europe. “We are thrilled to have Denise join CREDC’s team,” said Lisa Nisenfeld, president of the council. “She brings a wealth of knowledge from the business world and her global expertise will be invaluable to help move Clark County’s new economic development plan forward.”
Launched in 1982, the CREDC is a nonprofit jobs promoter and business recruiter.
