A man riding a scooter was injured after crashing north of Battle Ground on Sunday evening.
William L. Bache, 67, of Portland was driving a gray 2006 Kymco scooter north on state Highway 503 about seven miles north of Battle Ground when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway.
Bache was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where he was discharged later that afternoon. He was wearing a helmet. Washington State Patrol cited Bache for speeding.
