Preparations for paving work on Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard will reduce the offramp from northbound Interstate 205 to eastbound Mill Plain to a single lane for four nights this week, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Crews will close the right lane of the ramp each night starting at 9 p.m. The lane will fully reopen at 6 a.m. the following mornings. The closures begin tonight, and will continue through Thursday, according to WSDOT.
Workers plan to lay new asphalt and install upgraded curb ramps on Mill Plain between Southeast Chkalov Drive and Southeast 136th Avenue — part of the city of Vancouver’s Pavement Management Program. Preparations are happening at night to minimize traffic disruptions, according to WSDOT.
All other ramps connecting I-205 and Mill Plain will remain open during the work.
