The Portland Police Bureau, along with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is looking to identify a man suspected of selling a stolen car.
The car was sold within a day of it being reported stolen in October 2012.
Two Vancouver residents paid the suspect, whom they met through an advertisement on Craigslist, $5,800 in cash for the 2005 Toyota Scion. After the purchasers attempted to register the car, they realized it was stolen.
The buyers took a photo of the suspect at the time of purchase and authorities are looking for help from the public to identify him.
He is described as a male in his mid-to-late 20s, 5 feet 10 inches, 170 pounds with red hair and blue eyes.
