Youth ball roundup: Camas Little League alive at 10-11 state

District 4 champion Camas remained alive in the 10-11 Little League state championship with a 7-6 win over Federal Way on Monday in Gig Harbor.

Camas was down 6-3 after two innings, and scored four in the third to take the lead.

Camas plays again at 7 p.m. today in another loser-out game.

District 6 champ Salmon Creek was eliminated by Kirkland 12-2.

Junior (13-14) baseball — Cascade from District 4 was scheduled to play West Seattle in a winner bracket game at Medical Lake High School on Monday. Results were not reported.

A victory would move Cascade into Wednesday’s semifinal. A loss puts Cascade in a loser-out game today.

District 6’s Lewis River defeated West Plains 20-6 on Sunday in a loser-out game. Lewis River plays again this morning in another loser-out contest.

18-year-old Babe Ruth — Results from Monday’s games at the Southern Washington state tournament in Aberdeen involving KWRL-Centerfield were not reported.
